How to employ teachers and administrators
670,000 teachers are employed and 27,000 administrators are in the Hebei Providence
The principal is the manager of the school and they are either appointed and those who inspire to be one
The HS Principal is appointed and the rest of the administrators get the job on competing. However, this is done in a form of a debate. The HS administrator needs five years experience.
The primary administrator needs a teaching certificate and be teaching at least two years.
Administrators have to register as a public official. He vacancies are posted in newspaper and Internet. Applicants apply with HR and need to be prepared with a speech for the public. There is a totally of 8 steps before the person is chosen .
They believe their process is effective and principals are the highest paid. There was one opening for a position and there were over 300 applicants.There is a lot of pressure on each Principal. To stay in the position the teacher and students must agree to keep them. There term is one year.
Teachers employment
Open competition . The local education selects the teachers. Vacancies are posted to the community, teachers must apply and take a paper test. I wonder if it is like the one with PDE?????One test is related to education and then they have a face to face test. They check references, and their qualifications. Once they are selected they are announced to the public and then they sign a contract . The conditions to be a teacher...they must be qualified and if you have bad behaviors you are not qualified. The teachers have a one year probation, of approved they then get a five year contract.
