Rural areas do not attract teachers. So they rotate the teachers. This gives all teachers a perspective of the rural schools. A side note .... Perhaps we should do this..... More will have a better APPRECIATION of what we have.........especially in TULPY.
Some students go onto universities and vocational schools.
Those who graduate have a better chance of being successful in life especially those who go to college.
The success of education is from the following
1. Nine years compensatory education
2. Change of population due to educations
3. Faster growing Universities
The numbers of students success is growing in spite of the obstacles they have. The numbers in China are just mind blogging .
Improvement of locations of HS buildings have helped the education process. They have also consolidated some HS schools thus the number of students have increased. They are always trying to improve the quality of the schools.
Preschool Education three years
Since they focused on the HS the preschool has not done as well.
The focus is to fund KDG and also to fund Preschools so all have an EQUAL education .
Education reform.....open to the outside world.
China use to have a planned economy now they have a market economy. They are asking companies to invest in education. Money is also borrowed to help the schools.they have also shifted the funding to other levels of government . The county level has taken this responsibility to make sure things are more evenly distributed.
This is very interesting! I was at in in-service where the speaker talked about her travels in Japan and at the school she visited had the teacher rotate as well. They also rotated subjects taught - one year you taught math, the next science, etc.
