China's symbol is the Great Wall. Our trip to the wall is and hour and half bus drive and the temperature is 40 degrees with a wind. It is sunny today and is idea for sightseeing and picture taking. At the Great Wall the temperature will be colder. I am prepared with layers of clothing. The wall is 6,000 km . The wall was built 7th century BC . My hope for all my blogs is for teachers to perhaps expand on my blogs with other sources on the Internet. On the way there are different levels you can climb. We were just told you need to able car or ski lift to get to the wall. I am going to have to quickly eliminate my fear of heights. One million soldiers died building the wall and the wall can be seen from space.
