This is one of four towers around Xi'an . They ring every morning at 6:00 at least that is when I hear them. Riding bike yesterday on the city wall is more impressive today as I think about it. Just think the wall was built in 1360 . The wall is about two stories high and about 50 yards wide. Built by hand. Just unreal. And to think I rode a bike around the entire city on a wall built way before anything in the USA. History, history, history. The man power to get things done is unreal.
